about

Guess Its time we spilled the beans. Silura has been tucked away, working diligently on a new musical path we have chosen. This is a rebirth of sorts, with Silura taking on a new meaning!
From now on, Silura will be releasing their music in single format, each single having a new vocalist featured on it. Alongside Morla Collective, Silura aims to grow the community and flip it on its head.
Starting with "Ocupado" featuring the lovely Mac Guarnieri and his set of inhuman vocal chords, "Ocupado" is an insane flurry of gut punching riffs, and a merry go round of pummeling proportions.
This has been an absolute labor of love from start to finish for everyone involved. And I couldn't ask for a better group of people to work with. Brian Mertz Cameron Mizell Patrick Hayes Davide Aroldi Andrew Laffan Rob Qualls Andrew Bosko Derek Edgerton and Joshua Thomas Williams Mac Guarnieri we couldn't have done anything without your amazing guidance, musicianship, patience, and all around badassery. From the bottom of my heart, and Silura's, thank you. - Richard Perdomo

lyrics

The unwanted and unpredictable

Ominous foreshadowing had been ignored

And the consequence is nigh

The way is treacherous

But must be taken

Substance has taken effect

Senses dull

Balance forgotten

This trek like a babe’s first steps

Stumbling through the breakers,

Jostled by endlessly violent waters.

Thunderous vibrations resound,

The core’s hull shudders and shakes,

Sanctuary lies here

Through the golden gates

Into the great hall

The portal is open without guard

Kneel before the throne

And let the praise surge forth But the seat of power is occupied

Try to stifle and stray

Fail and further sully the honored guest

Soil the love that’s yet to be had
